Four heroines join together for a Sathyan movie

Sathyan Anthickadu is joining with Mohanlal after “Rasathandram “. Antony Perumabavoor is producing the movie under Ashirvad movies. Four lady characters will be doing the female lead. Meera jasmine, Khushboo, Mohini & Seetha are in the respective positions. Shooting will begin on January 2008.

“Chinthamani Kolakkese” to Tamilnadu?

Shaji kailas is remaking “ Chintamani Kolakkese” in Tamil. Title role “Chintamani” is played by Parvathi( Note Book fame). Hero will be a new face.. Vadivelu & Manivarnnan are doing important characters..Shoooting will begin on Jan 1 at Coimbatore. Mauritius will be another location.

Mohanlal’s 'Vismaya' extended to Kochi

Super star Mohanlal’s Vismaya Max studio is now extended to Kochi also. Digi transfer facility ( technology through which data can be transferred from Kochi to Trivandrum within just three minutes) is the main highligt of the studio. A single line from BSNL is leased for this purpose. Lab works of “Mohanlal Sibi Malayil team’s “Flash” will be done at Kochi “Vismaya”


Saiju Kuruppu finally turns a villan

Newcomer Saiju Kuruppu is offered a villan role in Dileep’s “Mulla”. He was considered for Dileep’s Lion and Chandupottu as villan at first. But some how it didn’t materialise. So this time it’s his turn. All the best Saiju

Lal Jose finds “Mulla”

Star singer contestant” Meera Nandan” gets selected as heroine for Lal Jose movie “Mulla”. Meera who was a contestant of Star singer later became it’s segment anchor. Lal jose seeing her smart perfomance offered her the role of heroine. A train and railway colony forms the main background for the film. Innocent, Salimkumar,Risabava, Binish Kodiyeri, Anoop Chandran, Sukumari are some among the star cast. Vipin Mohan is doing camera. Shooting will commence on Nov 21 at “Pazani”

Kalabhavan Mani again for an Experiment?

After tasting failures on some of his films( Lokanathan IPS, Chacho Randaman) Kalabhavan Mani is trying to come back with a strong character. This time he is a police officer who fights for social justice. The film named as “Kerala Police “ introduces him as”Sathyanath” a loyal police officer. .Lakshmi Sharma is in female lead. Inocent , Suraj Venjarammoodu, Madhu Warrier , Kalaranjini, Archana are in the star cast. Dinesh & krishnamoorthy produces the movie under DMK group(Bangalore).

“Roudram” may become a January release

Mega Star Mammootty’s “Roudram” was scheduled to be released on December, but as the shooting works still remain, probably the releasing date may change to January. Renji Panicker directs the movie in his usual thrilling & explosive manner.
Mammootty excels himself as Assistant Police Commissioner Narendran also called by the nickname “Nari” who fights against social evils and corrupted political forces. This movie is a “must see” for Mammooty fans.

East coast Vijayan flies to Malaysia for climax scene

Upcomming movie “Novel” directed by Eastcoast Vijayan shifted it’s location to Malaysia for climax scene.A place named Selengore(just sixty kilometers from Kulalampore) became the venue. Intresting fact is that climax of this movie ends up with a song sequence. Entirely different from formula movies, right? Sada is the heroine .
