Ingredients:

Cleaned Prawns : 250gms

Small Onions, long chopped strips: 400gms

Green chillies, cut into slits: 6nos

Fenugreek, Turmeric power: a pinch each

Coriander powder 2tsp

Red chilli powder: 3tsp

Tamarind pulp: as required

Curry leaves: as required

Coconut oil: 4tsp

Salt: as required

Preparation:

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add prawns, onion, green chillies and curry leaves.
  2. Fry the above items till onion turns light brown.
  3. Add all spice powders and mix well.
  4. Add salt, tamarind pulp and three cups of water.
  5. Cook till the gravy thickens
  6. Serve hot with rice.
